Abuja, State House – The next G-20 Summit will be held in New Delhi, India, from September 9th to 10th. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be there.

Ajuri Ngelale, the president’s spokesman, told reporters at the State House on Friday that the trip is meant to bring Foreign Direct Investment to the country. This was stated by Channels TV. He said that the President will host a round table with more than 20 CEOs of big companies in different parts of the Indian economy.

“In addition to that we are focused on engagements that will be dealing with the critical sectors of the Nigerian economy involving steal development, involving electricity generation, transmission and distribution, involving ship yard building capacity and several other industries which we know to be labour intensive to ensure that we can create as many jobs for our teeming youth population as possible,” Ngelale said.
