Obi, Tinubu, Atiku: Tribunal has fixed Sept 16 for judgement – Charly Boy claims
Charles Oputa, better known by his stage name Charly Boy, is a famous Nigerian entertainer. He says that the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal has set September 16 as the date for making a decision on the cases that question President Bola Tinubu’s win.
Even though DAILY POST can’t be sure of the date, the Constitution says that the Tribunal has until September 16, 2023 (180 days after the petitions are filed) to make a decision on the cases.
Atiku Abubakar, who ran for president in the February 25 election as a candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Peter Obi, who ran as a candidate for the Labour Party (LP), both asked the Tribunal to fire Tinubu for a number of reasons.
In a post on his official X handle, Charly Boy told people who back Obi, who are called “Obidients,” to get ready for the judgment.
The message says, “OBJECTIVES: ARE YOU READY? Tribunal (PEPT) has said that Peter Obi and the Labour Party’s claims against Bola Tinubu, INEC, Shettima, and the APC, as well as Atiku’s case against the APC, INEC, and Tinubu, will be decided on September 16, 2023.
