My name is ******** a batch ******* corp member serving in ******* haven been posted *******on the ******* I joined the ****** CDS group. Desirous of further serving the land through the NYSC scheme I decided to look at challenges and opportunities to impact life decided to initiate several projects that would touch the lives of members of ****** community and ****** senatorial district as a whole.
Name of Project:
- Counseling on career choice for students in the senatorial district.
- Skill acquisition for student in secondary school (computer, shoe making, and barbing)
- Planting of (500) trees to enhance environment protection
- Organizing extramural classes for graduating students
- Sensitization on drug abuse on youth in the senatorial district
- Payment of Jamb for Bright students
- Renovation of coppers lodge in the community
- Donation of books and school uniforms to indigent students
- Distribution of free shoes to indigent students
Estimated cost of project:
The project is estimated to gulp the sum of *******. However, the breakdown would be contained in the work plan.
Sources of funding
The project is expected to be funded by philanthropist, politicians, community leaders and spirited individuals from the entire senatorial district.
Expected time of completion
The project is expected to be completed by 15th January, 2022.

Counseling on career choice for students in the senatorial district.
250 pamphlets will be published to give to corps members in the senatorial district the books would be used as a guide for them to equip the both government junior and senior secondary school students of the senatorial district. The pamphlets would contain the various academic qualifications available to secondary school graduates; their pros and cons, the importance of young students learning a skill in their secondary school in addition to the western education.
The campaign would kick off from August 1st to 15th August 2021.
The production cost of each pamphlet is #350 x 250 copies = 87,500
Travels to various secondary schools in the senatorial district = 50,000
This project would cost a total of 137,500
Skill acquisition for student in secondary school (shoe making, and barbing)
The corp member would engage 45 selected students that would benefit from the three (3) areas of skill acquisition programmes selected.
Barbing: 15 students would be selected to benefit from the barbing skill acquisition program.
A rechargeable clipper would be purchased at the rate of 15,000
An apron would be made at the rate of 2000
A chair would be purchased at the rate of 5000
A total of 22,000 would be needed to execute this project.
NOTE: students of **************** would receive free barbing all through the period under review.
The project is expected to be carried out within August 15th to 30th of August 2021.

Planting of (500) trees to enhance environment protection
500 trees would be planted within the environment of *************
This project is intended to create for environmental protection and provision of shades during heat period.
The project would cost the 250 x 200 = 50,000
The school management would be convinced to water and nurture the plants till they attain self preservation.
This project would be carried our in July, 2021.
Organizing extramural classes for graduating students
The corp member would organize extra mural lessons for students in ss3 to equip them for the forth coming JAMB, WEAC and NECO examinations

This would be free of charge as the corp member would use coppers serving in the community to achieve this.
Sensitization on drug abuse on youth in the Local government area
100 pamphlets will be published to give to corps members in the ****** Local government Area the books would be used as a guide for them to equip the both government junior and senior secondary school students of the local government. The pamphlets would contain the causes and effect of drug abuse among students in secondary schools; how to stop abusing drugs, the role of NDLEA, schools and parents in curbing drug abuse in the local government area.
The campaign would kick off from September 1st to 15th September 2021.
The production cost of each pamphlet is #350 x 100 copies = 35,000
Travels to various secondary schools in the senatorial district = 10,000
This project would cost a total of 45,000
Payment of Jamb for Bright students
25 bright students would be randomly selected from the local government for the payment of 2022 Jamb forms. This would be selected among the students that participated in the extra mural lessons.
5000 x 25 = 125,000
